Visited Mughal Carpets while in Agra not knowing much about hand knotted carpets as I had not thought about buying a carpet prior to travelling to India. We were greeted by Imran the owner who was very welcoming. He gave a wonderful educative overview of the stages of creating a hand knotted woolen rug. We were able to watch a skilled... More

Interesting to see display of how carpets made. Found patterns there not seen elsewhere in India or US. Bought a beautiful pattern with dark beige fringe, so unique that fringe is not white which gets dirty. Nice they use local weaver families and support child welfare. Prices are better than rug prices in New Delhi, but still wool rugs are... More

I found a perfect carpet from a place, where conditions for workers are fine, at least they tell me so and I hope it is true. For me it was important to know that costumers and workers are both important here. Everything went fine, I got my carpet to Finland by DHL and I am so happy to have this... More

We were visiting Agra, when I popped into Mughal Carpets, to take a look at how they were being made, it is all by hand, they were fantastic, I ended up buying a 4 x 4 size circular carpet, which they shipped back to the UK for me, it arrived 5 days after I arrived home from India, I was... More

Stunning carpets, I would have loved to buy one, maybe one day! Seeing how the carpets are made, the hand knotting and then the finishing was amazing, the pattern in the carpet appeared as it was trimmed, beautiful colours.

We had been duped at a previous carpet shop having spent almost eight times the value of our carpets. This shop helped sort our mess out and shipped our carpets back from Agra to Jaipur free of charge. I cannot stress how important it is to do your due diligence first by reading trip advisor reviews before walking into any... More

I have had several carpets produced by Mughal for a client. At first, I was a bit skeptical but I was completely satisfied with their services. We sent the plans to the them and about 3 to 4 months later, we received beautifully crafted carpets.
