We visited here before the visiting the Taj Mahal and to me that definitely felt the best way round of doing things. It was a morning visit and unfortunately it was foggy with limited visibility, thus meaning it wasn't possible to see the Taj Mahal from here. A fascinating building, beautifully preserved and with an amazing story linked to the... More

A must visit in Agra!! Do opt for winters for travelling and carry along shades, sunscreen and cap as scorching sun will definitely burn/tan your skin. In totality, its an exceptionally good monument..

Visited this site during morning hours and had a lot of fog and poor visibility. After some time it subsided then we could enjoy internal architecture style. Yes they are similar to any other fort but with large magnitude. Some of the internal structures were impressive.

This beautiful fort has a lot of history; but you should go with a local guide to explain you everything about the patios, temples and rooms. If you go by yourself you won't appreciate it that much.

Beautiful fort but hawkers and traffic outside is a big no. This really does not show India and its potential.

Another engineering masterpiece - it was fascinating to learn how they lived so many years ago - the different way of life between nobility and common people. A 'must do' when in Agra.

A part of Imperial India history. Great building! A place to discover with a good guide, so that you can understand the various spaces and history hidden in each room. It was, for example, here that Emperor Shah Jahan was arrested by his own son, who in a state of power killed his brothers and deposed his father. On the... More
