Not much to add on what has been said by others. Great place to visit with different styles of architecture. If you can get a guide all the better. Nice view over the river to the Taj Mahal. Allow up to an hour. Large parts of the Fort are 'occupied' by the Indian army and thus out of bounds.

Well worth the visit, but go before it gets too hot. We visited this after a dawn visit to the Taj (in late March) and by that time it was sweltering.

It was good to see that Agra Fort is well maintained. Lot of tourists visit Agra Fort. Again, Guide would be required to understand the history of Agra Fort.

This is a huge place and has lot of history. Do not chose April/ May to visit Agra. It is is good to choose a guide . It may take 1-2 hrs to complete the fort. 50% of the fort is not accessible for the public. Delhi red fort is made in the model of Agra fort.

For someone who's been enchanted by the beauty of the Alhambra, to know that there's an at least equally good if not prettier wonder as the Agra Fort was a beautiful surprise! This is a great experience, and made better if you've got someone to eloquently tell you the tales that bring this place to life. :)

Agra fort is very nice. But in comparison to Amber fort, Amber fort wins hands down. Agra fort however it truely just as amazing. Lots of photos opportunities. Also once at the top there is a view of the Taj Mahal.

you cannot go to agra and miss out on the agra fort. it is barely 10 mins away from the taj mahal.. it is not as stunning and beautiful but it has a lot of historic element attached to it. but i enjoyed the elephant rides to the fort, that was fascinating

It was super hot and walking around the extensive grounds of the fort, up and down stairways, hidden alleys and corners, became quite tiring, but a visit you had to make.
