We went here on New Year's Day. Over 20.000 people were there. Thankfully as none Indians we paid more but did not have to queue. The locals had to queue for hours. There was scaffolding up which apparently has been there for four months. There is no work bring done yet so I think this is bad organising but the... More

Price for foreigners is 1000 INR. Collect your free bottle of water and shoe covers. Despite there being thousands of other tourists the site is still peaceful with well kept gardens. We didn't find the cafe. The building itself is more incredible in real life. An emotional experience and a dream come true.

Amazing Taj. Nothing more to be said. But if you have time you can get a slightly different view of the Taj from the river bank by following the road from the East Gate towards the river where you will find a small ghat. Maybe 500m down?? From here you can look up at the Taj from a different angle.... More

WOW! WOW! WOW! There are no words to describe this beautiful monument and is without a doubt a MUST visit! However, you cannot visit the Tajmahal without also visiting the fort to truly appreciate the Tajmahal.

Always wanting to visit the Taj Mahal and finally got a chance to do so last December 2016. We actually took a train ride from New Delhi to Agra and had a local travel agent to pick us up at the train station. Once we reached there, the agent walked us through from the entrance and slowly gave us 101... More

My experience at the Taj far exceeded any expectation I had. It is one of the most amazing pieces of architecture I've ever seen. We went at sunrise (though they open just after the sun comes up) and it was breathtaking. Everyone in our group went the day before and got some traditional clothing which made the experience that much... More

Made a day visit from Dehli to Taj Mahal the last day of my India Holiday, Sun-15-Jan-2017. Friends of mine recommended to hire a tour guide from a company called Fabulous Taj Tours, Mr Sajid Khan. I did so for 4 hrs. Had an amazing 2 hrs tour of Taj Mahal with lots of historical background info and SNEC Todd.... More

An amazing experience and a must see for all visitors. Be careful of locals who grab your camera and randomly start taking photos and expect money. If you are a westerner it is not unusual for locals to want to get a photo with you.
