This is one of the 7 man made wonders of the world. I just had to see it this year and am so glad that I did. I flew into Delhi and then had a tour of the golden triangle (Agra, Jaipur and Delhi). The main place to see is the Taj Mahal. We had a guide and I am... More

Pictures really can't do the Taj Mahal and its grounds justice. The beauty of Taj Mahal exceeded even our very high expectations. It did not matter that it was crowded - it was beautiful. Truly a wonder of the world! Certainly the highlight of Agra. Visiting in the late afternoon in late November was perfect for the weather. Again, there... More

Words are not enough to describe this place, you must go there and see it with your own eyes. Do not be bothered by sellers all around and by local people that want to take your picture and than charge for it. Relax, enjoy your visit and contemplate one of the most both beautiful places in the world!

A truly wonderful place and even better second time around. The history of it is fascinating and it must be the most perfect structure ever made by man.

If you were destined to die at 40 having your 14th child, perhaps its some consolation to know you were memorialised in perpetuity. Everything has been said....so... The Taj Mahal has next to nothing inside, so concentrate on shooting it from outside : 1 / as you enter, use the arch ( or the arches inside to the right )... More

My second visit, and well worth seeing again. Being on a tour we had limited time both visits, but the ambience is magnificent. The marble inlaid with semi precious gems and carved flowers is stunning. Sadly, for the purposes of nice photos it is currently undergoing restoration and the water fountains are not flowing, but still breathtaking

While the Taj is beautiful in pictures, it is even more so in person. I have seen it at Sunrise, Sunset as well as mid-day and always appreciate its majestic beauty and grandeur. Note that currently, parts of it including the front East minaret is clad in scaffolding so it is not perfect for photography. Also of note is how... More
