Highly recommend visiting the sanctuary to learn about efforts to rescue elephants and see some of the animals. The guides were very engaging and informative. Must do if visiting Agra.

I spent a week here in Agra with my partner and worked at both the Elephant and Bear enclosures. We have had the most amazing experiences with both animals and have some of the most unforgettable moments. We made enrichments to keep the animals occupied and helped prepare the fruit and porridge. They showed us little Movies about the lives... More

I visited the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Center on a World Challenge school trip and it was one of the highlights of my time in India! It was so much fun spending time with the elephants and very interesting learning about each of their lives. The people there are doing amazing things for the animals they care for... More

Loved our visit to the sanctuary!! About an hour drive from Agra - totally worth the trip. We did the short tour! We should have done the full day... The work they are doing is incredible and extremely touching.

The staff & volunteers are truly dedicated to helping previously exploited Asian elephants live out their "retirement" in a peaceful environment. I will be donating to this extremely worthwhile organization (that has minimal overhead expenses, unlike other non-profits) on a regular... More

Getting to be close to such large animals was a wonderful experience. We walked with the elephants feeding them along the way, peanuts for fuel. We prepared food, gave them baths and fed them. The staff was helpful in making us feel comfortable and safe around the elephants.

We did the two hour trip here, and enjoyed it. I think that we probably would have enjoyed the half day more, as the elephants were all in pens, and I think that walking with them would have been the best bit. The stories are fascinating, and it was fun to feed the elephants. It brought welcome variety to our... More
