Since maintained by civic authorities it seems to be not upto the mark. Japanese garden was algae infested shallow pools marked nondescript patch. Nothing to claim the title. Otherwise also the gardens were not that great, in fact a bit shabby at places.

Next time I visit Ooty I would not stay in the city - it is DIRTY ! May be, I shall choose a forest lodge in Mudhumalai or just before entering Ooty. City gave me a nausea. May be because it was rainy season that did it... More
