This natural paradise has an extensive cover of water bodies,shola trees,rhododendrons and orchids.Trekking enthusiasts keep flocking here to try their hands at the various trekking trails.

This is cool and fragrant forested area.Avalanche is 25 kms from Ooty,ideal for trekking.The avalanche River is an anglers delight abounding in trout.

The road is open all year round till avalanche, beyond that you need permission from forest dept. Check with Bilgiris South Division office at Ooty. The road is not advisable for commute during monsoon months.

its tourist place no need to get permission .just go before 2 or 3 pm ...you need get tickets for safari it will take two hours to see whole place...
