We travelled 2 hours to get there and on entering we saw elephants and monkeys; and that was it. Lots of advertising about tigers but how many there were or even if one existed I will never know

Drive to this park is around 2 hours from Ooty. Sighting wild animals is sheer luck. Can't expect much. Go at your own choice.

Mudumalai and Bandipur are next to each other and offers a great wild life spectacle. We were fortunate to site a Leopard and a host of other animals.

There is no need to book in advance. Once you reach the spot, there are lots of Jeep found for safari. They normally charge Rs. 1200/- per Jeep and it takes about one and half hours for the entire safari to complete as it's... More

On holidays more crowd will be there. You can visit Govt of Tamil Nadu Forest Department website for online booking.
