Beautiful lake, together with the other avalanche lake. This has sunrise views. It’s fun to play skipping stones here.

The drive from Ooty takes you through hilly villages and towns. The last leg of road is tough . There is no infrastructure around when visiting off season

Away from the hustle and bustle of the central Ooty city, this lake is best for couples who love to spend some time in peace. Please carry some snacks/food/water etc. as there are not many eating joints around.

Excellent Lake, but you do not get a chance of riding on the boat for more than 5 minutes. Very mean people out there.
