Kindly spare an entire day to visit this temple. Its a place to be adored for its sculptural extravaganza and spiritual experience. Visiting this temple during pooja and aarti will be a good experience to view the "Chidambara rahasyam".

Salwar kameez with dupatta is advisable. I have seen girls with jeans and tops also there.. But for men, If they want to go inside shrine i.e. nataraja. they have to remove their shirt. thanks

Yes it is possible to cover both the temples in a single day. Even if its festival time one temple you can visit in the morning (better reach early morning atleast by 7.00 hrs) and finish pooja, dharshan, lunch etc and start... More
