Its a nice place for a quick weekend getaway. Its not too commercial and hence peaceful. Good for family, friends. The couple of trekking points are interesting. The drive up and down is exciting due the large number of hair pin bends in a short distance.

We went there on 29th Dec 2016 for a drip. The drive is good. The road which take it to top is very nice. There is a lake /children park/nature park and theme park . It was very crowded may be because of weekend. I wish this place is maintained more neat and clean. I saw people sitting and drinking... More

We had our first hill ride to yelagiri hills. The roads are very good we don.t have any problem since it is the first hill drive. Yelagiri is small place enough to see in one day.Boating is available there. Big park for kids to play and enjoy. For food it is better to stay in hotel with restaurant. we stayed... More

The place in itself might not be anything compared to Ooty or Coorg, but the ride to Yelagiri in itself is awesome. You need to leave early at around 4am from Bengaluru, to be lucky enough to encounter the dense fog!

This is a hyped location and there is nothing much to see. Only the route up the hill is good. On top of the hill there is nothing much to see compared to other hill stations. The artificial lake is very small. You can as well go for boating in ulsoor lake than coming all the way from Bangalore. There... More

Located close to Bangalore and one of the get always from the hustle bustle of Bangalore . The road leading to Yelagiri is very well maintained. Temperatures also not high and the road leading to Yelagiri has around 20 hair pin bends .. a decent place if all your wish list within Karnataka is finished

We visited Yelagiri from Bangalore for a day trip. Started at 5 am from Whitefield and managed to reach by 8.15 even with a 30 min break at the Mc D near Krishnagiri. Boating at the man made lake was a good experience. Went for a trek up the hill. I am not a trek person but managed to reach... More

We took a bike ride from Bangalore to Yelagiri hills, the hill road is good and different, unlike other hill roads we need to pass through hill and ride through them, here you are scaling the same hill till you reach, you can see same view on your right till you reach. Things to do The condition is ok, humid... More

Yelagiri is close to Chennai, can be reached in <5 hours. Temperatures are fairly low but it can get a bit sunny in the noon.. Plenty of hotels and restaurants are available. Variety of options for non veg lovers. Getting there: Catch a train to Jolarpet. Buses ply to the hills at a frequency of 1 every hour. The fair... More
