Booked this via Club Mahindra, where we were staying. Night safari was excellent. Driving around in an open jeep around the forest and village areas. Spotted a leopard and some cubs, owl and rabbit. Basically you see a lot fields and huts as human life...More

visit to the kumbhalgarh wild life sanctuary was no so special in terms of the animals there. No need to visit this.

The animals are rarely seen, hence go early morning or late afternoon. Nice overall experience as expected

We could see Deers, Antelope, Monkeys, Peacocks & Tiger, rarest view. one has to hire a jeep & roam around at least for 1 to 2 hrs to see the animals.

have to book in advance to get the jeeps for taking you in the jungle, saw deer, sambhars,were lucky to see tigers, the drivers very good

The forests are dense but not much of animal sighting. Open jeeps take you inside from kumbhalgarh fort, and depending on how much money you are willing to spend, the operators will show you around that much longer. Don't go expecting too much animal sightings....More

Its a money making racket. We saw one deer and one wild boar. Can skip this and spend more time in your hotel relaxing. Not worthwhile to get up early in the morning.

You can stay in Udaipur & visit Kubhalgarh Fort & come back the same day. Kubhalgarh is 85 kms from Udai pur & It takes 2 hours to reach. Price for Gypsy would be around INR 2500 from Udaipur & back. You can club attractions... More

At the foot hill of the Kumbhalgarh you will find tea shops/tappris you can ask them they have the sanctuary staff sitting around and they can help as well.

It will take 2.0 hr with routine trip, if you get friendly with the driving and accompanying staff on the jeep they may take you round more slowly and make it 2.5 hrs or so. If you book the Jeep it will cost you 2500 and up... More
