Well maintained and historical place to visit. Crystal gallery was one of the main attraction. Located near to Pichola lake.

Obviously one of the best things to see in Udaipur, what struck me was that a lot of the artefacts are in such good condition. The Palace itself is spectacular, go with a guide if you can to explain in more detail.

It is kind of must visit in Udaipur. The palace is beautiful but tickets are expensive. Separate tickets for camera. You can take the boat tickets after visiting the palace.

The private apartments with their European furniture and carpets were not to our taste, nor some of the more over the top glass interior decoration.... More

City Palace was a beautiful experience. I chose to have a guide who was good- But after quoting a price he wanted more after the tour. This I ignored . I would go back again on my own and see the art work in my time as it was stunning. Well worth a long visit if the history interests you.... More

The City palace stands very grand and affords views over Udaipur and the lake. From memory it is around half the price of many places that you visit in India, for that reason alone it is worth a look. There is nothing really different to other Forts and Palaces you may have visited, but just another story in the rich... More
