ticket prices are high as per the display of ancient things.. Lot of cameras are fitted but not even a single person to attend in person or guards per say.. Very close to down town, lake picchola but had high expectations which didn't turn up well.. no sign boards, once you purchase your ticket, make your own way to the... More

It's not a bad way to spend an hour or two in Udaipur but if your pushed for time give it a miss. It is a lovely building and had some rooms set up in a traditional fashion which was nice to see but apart from that it's just a collection of lots of odd things. Like a whole room... More

Dont miss it. Its worth every penny The dances are out of this world and the puppet show kills it. The tickets go on sale at 1815 hrs and show starts at 1900 hrs. It runs fr an hour. Arrive early to get tickets and be ready to queue for them. Get a pass for clicking photos too. On your... More

We went to watch the cultural show in the evening. It was a great display of rajasthani cultural arts in a one hour show. Suitable for travelers as well since the show was narrated in both Hindi and English. Informative and overall lovely experience.

This is a heritage haveli, privately owned and well maintained. There is a museum consisting of puppets, old furniture and dresses, paintings and art works and also life size models depicting elaborate Indian marriage ceremony. In the evening there is a cultural show at 6:30 PM which is highly recommended.

I did not visit the Haveli per se; this review is about the evening's cultural show of dance and puppetry that is held at the haveli. It is a popular show that showcases the traditional dances of various parts of Rajasthan. These art forms will be lost if no one patronises them. In the old days it was the royals... More

My 4 yr old enjoyed the show with traditional dances and puppet show. However you have to visit the place one hr before the show and stand in queue and then again another queue for getting inside for the show. I wish they start selling the tickets online reducing at least one queue. Today when Mr. Modi is talking about... More
