The cultural programme is a must watch. Beautifully presented by the graceful artists. The experience was memorable. We got tickets for the 7pm show and we reached at 7pm... No seats were available. Need to be there by 6:30pm.

This was the best place we had visited in Udaipur. It is equally popular with foreigners as well because they show an authentic rajasthani folk dances and puppet shows. The whole show was beautifully organized. Loved it from the start till the end.

Definitely worth doing. Variety show of folk dances and puppetry lasting one hour from 7:00-8:00 held in a courtyard of a museum. We showed up 30 minutes before performance and were lucky to get tickets as some behind us were turned away. Very inexpensive and just the right duration. We were placed on a cushion on the ground with folks... More

Nice to walk in there in order to take a few pics of the building or the lake views. Recommend it anytime. The lake is quite dirty but there's some great sunset pics in the evening.

This happen between 7-8, be there by 6:30, do take tickets for camera as well and get things recorded. They are pretty good. If you are left with a choice of light show at City palace or this, definitely opt this. We did both and I prefer doing this again and not the light show.

The cultural/folk show in the evening is simply breathtaking. One must must check this place out. Try to grab a seat in the front, not to the sides.

Folk dance in evening here is mesmerising! Many folk and tribal dances of Rajasthan and Gujarat are performed. You can sit on mattress or steps. Pitcher dance is amazing. Do not miss! They have a museum as well.

I am well informed about the place before reaching Udaipur. So after visiting City Palace, the biggest palace of Rajasthan, and after watching the picturesque sunset at Pichhola Lake we took an auto to reach the haveli. The show time is 7 to 8 p.m and the booking counter opens at 6.15 p.m. Though we had not booked through online... More
