We went on four safaris in government gypsies (booked through our hotel) and saw tigers in three of them, and a bear and leopard in the fourth. It was hot outside during the day, but pleasant enough for the morning and evening drive times. Due to the heat, there's less vegetation and the animals congregate at limited watering holes, making... More

This is why you go to Ranthambore. There aren't a large number of different animals in the National Park, but they have tigers and we got a great view of them. The driver and guide were excellent and knew exactly where to go to find the tigers.

Loved our trip to the National Park, we were lucky enough to see two tigers, a male & female, the rangers were so knowledgeable and informative.

We went to zone 6 and though our guide and driver told us that there has been regular sighting for past 10 days we were quite unfortunate to spot the tiger. Guess this is what they say to all the tourists to up their enthusiasm. Overall we could spot several other wild animals like different kind of deers, samba, peacocks... More

Tiger sightings will vary as to time of day, area, amount of rain and water, and luck. In late April and May temperatures are VERY hot.

What a great place to visit and to see animals in there natural habitat. Didn't see a tiger but saw a beautiful leopard along with lots of other animals. The accommodation is 5 star, the cottages around the game reserve have everything you need and the yummy Indian food at night. Lunch is international fare all made fresh each day.... More

Catch the full close up experience of a bengal tiger or alas a glimpse of one as it struts right by you! That's the essence of Ranthambhore. A truly memorable experience! The national park is huge and the best place to see a bengal tiger in the wild. In addition to the tiger there are many other animals and a... More

We got to see the tigers mating in the wild, so that's a huge plus. Although, the journey around there was super bumpy. Since there were a bit too many jeeps going there, there was even some argument about taking turn watching the tigers up close. Some tourist just refuse to budge even when they had 30 minutes worth of... More
