Do not waste your money. Horrible staff. Housekeeping was a nightmare. My son broke his arm because the slopes were not groomed. I was talking to a staff member and she told me how bad management was and the guy who is suppose to groom the slopes does not do it properly. The rooms are outdated. Front desk was rude.... More

This place is a gem. Of all the New Mexico resorts I've visited, this one has the best setup and the most beautiful views. The resort area has a great variety of shops and restaurants plus good parking. The lifts are easily accessible, and it's easy to get around. I hope to go again soon and see more of the... More

Stayed a week in Angel Fire. Skiing, sledding, tubing, horseback riding, all winter sports in this quaint friendly town. Snow stayed on the ground all of our stay. Cabins are roomy and comfortable. Fireplaces in each cabin and so is heat. We woke up to deer crossing through the yard. Close to Taos and Santa Fe. Love this area. Will... More

This whole town is very low key compared to most tourist trap places I have been. We really enjoyed the slopes and how it wasn't so busy. This was my first time to ski and I found the slopes to be friendly and challenging for a novice skier. I am currently thinking about planning a return trip this year.

I went here during the last weekend in January 2017. A group of 16 of us rented a house on the mountain (not provided by the resort so I'm not reviewing that part). We got pretty lucky because they had a snow storm in the days leading to our arrival. We had lift tickets and rentals for Friday to Sunday.... More

I spent two days skiing with my grandchildren and found the resort and personnel wonderful. The mountain was well groomed and the slopes and lifts accommodate all ability levels. All of the personnel from equipment rental to lift attendants to shuttle bus drivers went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. We had a fabulous time.

Visited this past weekend and the skiing was great. It snowed 3 days straight and was cold, but what do you expect. Turned into great powder conditions, which is surprising for New Mexico skiing. This resort is great for families with small children, and or beginners. However, I will say, we booked a private 1 hour lesson for my daughter.... More

Aside from your private lesson experience and a few staff members you felt were rude. I am glad you had a good trip. Many of our Instructors are certified in both Ski and Snowboard. He may have been scheduled snowboard that day and shifted. Many are also Childrens Specialist certified. Our motto is Safety Fun and Learning in that order.... More

Great resort for beginners. Shuttles are frequently available from all the condos and a nice, reasonably priced grocery store. Staff was very friendly.

Great place to visit both in summer or winter ski season. When the snow is good in New Mexico you won't find a better place to take the family skiing. Friendly people abound & the prices are much more reasonable than many other ski areas. Tons to do in the summer: golf, hiking, mountain biking, horse back riding, fishing,to a... More

We decided to try out Angel Fire since Red River ski area was booked. The reservations department said they couldn't book within 24 hours of school but there were plenty of spots available so just show up at 8:15 at the ticket office to get our kids registered. We spent $250 on a room and showed up the next morning.... More
