Must visit, cafes are a bit expensive but good fun, do try the zip wire in the Fort. Don't hurt inside the Fort as u might miss the small details, hand print and the story of the sattis on the entrance gate will give you goose bumps. Do take the audio guide from the ticket gate very good with all... More

The included audio guide here is fantastic. This fort has sweeping views of the Blue City and is an critical part of its history. I would put this in the top 10% of well done audio tours I have had. Not visiting this in Jodhpur would seem liked you missed something essentail

We learned that Naomi Campbell had rented out this heritage site for a blowout birthday party for her Russian beau. Would have loved to attend that party costing into the millions. Great collection art, elephant saddles and so much more.

The audiotour is completely worth it! I don't think we'd have had the same experience of the Fort without it.

if you visit jodhpur make sure you visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort. the views of the city from the fort are absolutely stunning. this fort is rated one of the best in all of india. it is also home to numerous concerts in the evening times - try and catch one while your there.

Mehrangarh Fort is on top of a cliff above Jodhpur providing great views of the blue city. Inside the fort is the Mehrangarh Museum which was formerly the fort's palace and galleries displaying excellent artifacts including the curved sword of Mughal emperor Akbar (a favorite of by husband). Also within the Fort is the Gallery Artchill which has a nice... More

I have traveled a lot within India and this has easily been one of the best forts I have seen. It is preserved very well and clearly the admins are taking very good care of it. Audio guides and regular guides are available outside. All the items to view are very well demarcated and categorized. A cute shop at the... More
