A wonderful experience, great sights, wonderful architecture, a home for real kings. Also a great shop. Walk down the back side towards the city and you will end up in the wonders of the blue city. Easy to walk back to themarket square from there!

It's in all the books and for good reasons. Impressive architecture, lavish art and stunning views. Short walk to the clocktower market. Really worth it.

This fort is an amazing 120 metres above the city! It was described by Kipling as 'the work of angels, fairies and giants'! Built in 1460 can you believe and it still stands today which is no surprise when you see the thickness of the walls. There is a museum within which houses some of the most important artifacts of... We really appreciated the audioguide. We like to take our time when visiting sites like this, so human guides are not our favourite. The audioguide here (included in foreigner tickets) really helps to round out the experience, while letting you move at your own pace. If you're capable, definitely don't take the elevator; you'll miss the first five stops on... More

As per my knowledge this is the only private fort in the country and management is not in hands of government, and it is managed by king's trust. I have visited many forts in India, and this is best managed, with easy and transparent tickets and pricing, no touting of guides as guides are also aligned with central tickets. Fort... More

Had a lovely guide and shared a walk with a coworker. Place closes at 5 so don't go to close to closing because they do hurry you along

After approaching the fort up a steep incline, for a small charge there is a lift to take visitors who don't fancy a long clime to the top levels. The rooms of the fort are a museum, filled with princely trappings - the room with howdahs and palaquins was particularly interesting. There is a money changer with good rates at... More

We saw many forts in India but this was one of the best. Incredible setting dominates the city by day and by night. Well organised venue with good museum, stunning artefacts and a beautiful shop with more to buy from the selected vendors outside.
