Very good place to visit. Should go there and complete visit with the fort itself. Very close to the fort.

The person who lives in this beautifu haveli has a lot of very interesting stories to tell, on customs, manners and architectural historical construction; he has an interesting shop with lots of curiosities with an appropriate explanation without pushing to sell. Thanks again!

Note that tourists are not allowed to enter this Haveli. You can see it from outside, but its not worth the effort unless you are an architecture/history enthusiast.

We passed by this havelli while walking from Jaisalmer fort towards the Gadisar lake. We decided to go inside for a visit and we had an excellent guide explaining the different architectural aspects of this havelli. The highlight of this havelli is the stone made lotuses which could be fitted in the walls like light bulbs !!!

Unlike Patwon-Ki-Haveli, this one is in very dilapidated condition with hardly any maintenance. Except the hanging balcony with it's intrinsic work, which you can see from outside there is hardly anything to see. I'm quite infamous for spending hours in any place of architectural interest, but even so I went up all the way to the top floor and came... More
