Ghat area in rainy season is filled with amazing mist and mountains get covered with low hanging ,sailing clouds all over. Needs to be seen to be believed this natural magic.

In monsoon the western ghats in Lonavala/Kandala gives a breath taking experience.. The smog on the hill top blinds one's vision a little. The mountain range is green and very pleasant to view

Close to Pune you can drive up and start walking in the hills/ treks. I would recommend treks to Visapur Fort . Took us 2.5 hours from base point up to the fort. Or try Lohagad fort or Sinhagad. There are many more to choose...More

You can go there only in the morning and evening if you are not an Osho Ashram member.
