Trivandrum coastline

The beach, near from Trivandrum airport, can be viewed from the flight taking/landing at the airport. Good clean beaches with ferocious sea.

It is worth watching the waves from this Pier. The fishermen use this for launching their boats into sea and the catch is also brought to the shore through this bridge. But due to the age, the bridge is in a bad shape, posing danger if not proper care is taken. Entry has been restricted due to this reason

The pier is long and is not well maintained. There is a warning that people are not allowed to enter since the pier is not maintained. But all the locals use this as a nice hangout spot in the evenings. Its a good place to visit during sunset time. Can get crowded.

An awesome place. There is a sign board before entering the bridge saying the bridge is no longer safe to walk on. It indeed requires a lot maintainence, but it is a very good place to spend some time in the evening watching the jellyfish and other varieties of fish swim just under your nose.. It is lot more beautiful... More

The pier though poorly maintained is worth visiting and memories of the vessels which came to there long back will fill our mind. Standing above the sea on a bridge gives a special feel. Watching sunset or just the sea and the fishing boats from the pier is a rare view. While visiting other tourist attractions in Trivandrum area make... More
