This is not a tourist place as it is just a ground where you can see children playing here and there. Some better places are nearby such as Jawahar Park.

Okay, this is not a touristical sight but the place where locals come to play football or cricket. And that's why you should come as well. Along the ground are a few nice cafes as well in case you need an extra reason to visit.

We could not miss the Parade ground as it was outside Malabar House hotel where we stayed with St Frances Church, of Vasco de Gama fame, at the other end opposite the Chinese fishing nets.

Not sure how this is even listed, but it's just a large flat and in parts muddy square section of dirt. Wouldn't bother going out of your way to see it, it was near the place a stayed.

Its a public park where the locals play sports and enjoy their time. If you have stamina and want to play just join them. I saw people playing soccer, volleyball, cricket.

There is nothing much to see here except for the greenery surrounding the play ground. This place indeed has a history of being a parade ground for Forces during the rule of British in India. There's much more surrounding this place which will interest you.!

Whilst visiting the church of Saint Francis I noticed this huge field being dug up. I asked several of the workers who were having a break, apparently there has always been problems with the parade ground suffering from bad drainage and flooding which caused problems...More

Instead I found food. The first Biennale had more exhibitions in the Parade Ground. This year I ate my way around the grounds -- which was fun too.
