Basically not much here but you walk around in combination with seeing the Chinese fish nets, fish markets, and walking around to see the beach and harbor views and take in the air.

Come here for fort Kochi beach and also sunset view. Nothing in particular about the square itself, that's like a forgotten thing.

We were fortunate to find ourselves at Vasco da Gama square on a Sunday near sunset. Lots happening. A Muslim religious meeting was concluding. Crowds were gathering on the beach for the sunset. So much colour, so much activity.

Go there by ferry. Beautiful view of Chinese fishing nets. Buy local products from stalls. Kind vendors.

This is just another square with little to offer except some views of the fishing nets. Lots of street vendors with fresh fish on offer.

Historically interesting, and a good way to see a more local life as local people are walking around going to Chinese fishing nets and eating ice cream. Otherwise nothing special about this specific square
