They have lot of collections which talks about traditions of many centuries, 3 floors they are maintaining very well and few of them they are selling also. They allow cameras inside, for people interested in Arts and Crafts must visit here at least one time.

200 rp tuktuk from Fort Cochi, huge old (no, new) museum cobbled together by a local enthusiast who has bought bits of old buildings, old photos, old paintings, old gods and goddesses, altar pieces and religious statues, and produced a wonderful slightly messy experience. Just spend a couple of hours wandering around, listen to the rather shrill guides if you... More

By seeing the exteriors, you just cannot make out that there is a rich world inside. That would be the best way to describe this museum. Set up by an individual, the museum has a rich collection of rare artifacts and is definitely a must visit for all tourists visiting Kochi. Away from the normal tourist attraction, this place is... You leave your shoes outside the lovely building and then wander around the 5 floors of exhibits. Personally, I found the first... More

We ended up at this museum quite unexpectedly, but it is worth a visit if you are an art or history buff! The museum is crammed with a lot of folk/antique pieces, so much so that they offer a few selected items for sale. Also, be sure to check out the museum store where you can buy Kerala silk sarees... We were brought here by our driver - it is a fair way off the beaten track - but worth the visit. A mixed ethnographic collection is crammed into every available inch, on one of the upper floors there is an area where everything is for sale too if you feel the urge. Well worth the effort to check out

Kudos to Mr George Thaliath... More
