We arrived in Kochi Jan 2017 and were greeted by Tocil Thomas of Malayalam Holidays Tours & Travels . The Backwater cruise was brilliant ,calm waters, we were the only couple on a Private Half Day boat trip which included an on board lunch cooked by a chef . Would recommend this relaxing activity on tranquil wide water ways with... More

We spent there 5 hours in their typical boats but would totally recommend if you spend the night there. The waters fill you with tranquility and you can relax a lot. Dont miss it!!

Is like boating through tropical paradise! Quiet waters of the lake, very peaceful. We chose not to spend the night on the boat due to time constraints, but the facilities looked very comfortable. We were greeted with coconut drink on arrival then had a tasty lunch on the boat consisting of local dishes. Great experience. Highly recommended.

We are a group of 8 friends and rented two boats each with two twins rooms. We got on board around lunch time and left the next day after breakfast. It's said they can cook fish directly caught from the river but we were concerned with the water quality so we required vegetarian food. Lunch, dinner and breakfast were all... More

We have just enjoyed perhaps the best five days of “vacation” travel we’ve ever done on a converted rice boat “houseboat” in the backwaters of Kerala south of Cochin beginning in Alleppey It is hard to compare five days of daily tours and brilliantly presented insights one gets on an Overseas Adventure Travel tour with five days on the balcony... My daughter and ourselves had a shared experience in a double-bedded converted rice boat sailing from Alleppey, overnight to our next hotel on the shores of Lake Vembanad. It was a magnificent experience seeing the world go by at a slow pace - people washing their clothes on the banks, fishermen hauling their nets in small canoes as well as... More

We did a standard 7 weeks of independent travel, using the LP as our guide, doing a horseshoe from Chennai down and back up to Bangalore. Excellent info from the LP and TripAdvisor It does not seem possible to book anything online with an international bank card, due to Indian restrictions. Local buses were great and easy to use and... This was the penultimate leg of our north/south India tour with Audley travel & was booked by Audley. Whilst the boat was pretty much as you would expect, the crew were not. They were polite but disinterested & unattentive. Having read other reviews from people who travelled with another cruise company, our cruise was nothing more than an ordinary money... More

Definitely a fantastic experience. With our driver, guide and cook we saw full life on the water as well as experiencing the fantastic local cuisine after selecting our own prwans and fish at the waterside market. Amazing wildlife and nature. perfect for photographers

We did the Kollam round trip rather than the whole way to Alleppey, and we're glad we did, as the backwaters around Kollam, are very quiet, unlike Alleppey, where there are 1000 houseboats. We saw three others on our trip. Although with cabins for two couples, our boat, the Esturia, only had my wife and I. And want a glorious... More
