This is the chapel of the school which i studied. And this is usually a place which anybody who comes to mangalore, without fail, visit it once, just to see the mesmerizing architecture of the chapel and the stained glasses. Well worth a trip just to see this CHAPEL

Impressive inside although no photos are allowed. That’s a shame because it prevents potential visitors from getting a glimpse of what they are in for. I have never understood this rule applied to so many places as nowadays because flash is rarely needed. A nice place to sit and contemplate and take in the surroundings. Not open on Saturdays.

Do visit St Aloysius chapel when you are in Mangalore. The architecture is impressive and the interiors are serene.

The paintings are the main attraction - they are old and quite impressive. The inside of the church is also peaceful and pleasant. It is a free attraction, but do donate a bit for its upkeep.

We went in Jan, but was like a hot summer day. We reached around 11, but that was the cleaning time, so had to visit the museum first which is near the chapel. But please dont go there, it looked like an old basement area or garage area where people just thrown their stuff but forget to clean always, All... More
