The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

O' Bangalore...City of lakes!!!

A beautiful lake which has gradually been gradually destroyed by an expanding international city...Part of it is still surviving thanks to Madras Sappers...

You can walk along the lake during the mornings and evenings.catch the sunset over the buildings on mg road. You can watch the army folks practising sailing n roving in the mornings. There are a few benches around the place to relax. But mosquitoes are a problem.

This is few of the lakes which is left untouched by fast growing urban Bangalore. The place is calm quiet and nicely maintained mostly because army holds it. They also have boating facility. the walk around the lake is serene and peaceful.

It's a place where you can go in morning or evening to enjoy the view. There is a pavement around the lake. In very near to army area. If you plan to visit there, better combine it with visiting a nice nearby gurudwara as shown in picture.
