Cubbon Park dons many hats: a green lung in the heart of the city that also hosts a library, museums, a tennis academy, an aquarium, a toy train and many statues and pavilions. It’s probably one of the only parks to have a busy road cutting through it. In the wee hours of the morning or evenings, it’s a jogger’s paradise. Spring adds to the beauty of this park, with the lovely and colorful Tabebuia trees in full bloom.

Once you land in the corner of Cubbon park, you keep walking and walking and walking.. Fresh air, grass smell, green views, pin drop silence. At some pockets, near the aquarium, you would see small mobile food stalls. One can easily spend 4 hours here with the family. Come with your lunch neatly packed in stainless steel boxes, don't litter... More

Cubbon Park is a large expanse of green space within the city of Bangalore. The green has been sacrificed for various 'development' activities like Metro, Road Expansions etc. However, the old Charm still remains. Within the Park, there is the Bal Bhavan - very famous with the kids of yesteryears as there were no 'WonderLa' 'Neeladri' Amusement parks. Though the... More

Lovely large park in the middle of Bangalore. It has different features and types of garden and can be a surprise to walk through. Our favourite was the bamboo forest and Jawahar Bal Bhavan amusements which was great for my 3 year old son.

Went to cubbon park yesterday for the first time with friends and family. It was awesome. people were walking, running, skating, cycling or merely strolling around casually. If you are a dog lover you would love to see hundreds of dogs of all colours and varieties with their owners. Many of them let them pet them too. There is a... More

A park full of greenery with lots of trees and maintained properly by the authorities. Access thru Metro connectivity makes it easier for normal public from farther areas of Bangalore to make it to the place. One can visit the park with family or friends or even alone and can spend time in the midst of greenery under different kinds... More
