Cubbon Park dons many hats: a green lung in the heart of the city that also hosts a library, museums, a tennis academy, an aquarium, a toy train and many statues and pavilions. It’s probably one of the only parks to have a busy road cutting through it. In the wee hours of the morning or evenings, it’s a jogger’s paradise. Spring adds to the beauty of this park, with the lovely and colorful Tabebuia trees in full bloom.

A nice cooling park to get away from the city and heat. Plenty to walk round and see or just to sit and enjoy the quiet in some cool shade.

Often I go to this area of town for some work and wind up coming out a building to find that there are no taxis, autos, no room on buses. I just duck into Cubbon park and have a walk-about. Though not so well maintained the trees have it and create an island of quiet and calm amidst the chaos... More

I used to go there every weekend as a child and loved it. So does my daughter now. The toy train brings back fond memories and the trees are just fabulous - brings a lot of peace and calm to a stressed day - even when i just drive by in a taxi

There were a lot of folk here when we visited and the wooded part was a welcome respite from the heat. That apart it all felt a little neglected - perhaps worth a sto if you're passing but probably not if you need totravel here specially (travelling anywhere in Bengalaru is a chore).
