Though far from Leh and a treacherous route takes away half ur enthusiasm , yet Leh visit is not complete without this. Must visit early summers to avoid rush at the lake and enroute. Stay is karzok village is recommended to enjoy the sunrise.

I go to Ladakh every year and this is THE place I look forward to the most. The drive to this lake itself is a spectacular experience, with changing terrain and some incredible views all the way through. Forget the reviews, just go!!
