Peaceful and serene

Calm , peaceful n seŕene.. good time to visit at sunsets. One can get good views of mountains from the top. Must visit!!

It's really a very calm and peaceful place.You can also reach by car or by taking stairs .Use sunscreen lotion also if you want to visit this place.

It's a little strenuous climb to Shanti Stupa but well worth the effort because it offers magnificent views of the city. Shanti Stupa is very peaceful at night and one can read, capture stars or just sit and meditate for hours. if you are in search of Mental Peace then this is the best place - You can visit this place easily from Leh just a short distance by car. Once you are there.. This structure has a lot of representation of messages that needs to be conveyed across timeframes. Well you will visit this place on your first day for sure. Coz this is what everyone else do and recommend. As your first day must be relaxing to adapt to the low oxygen.

One of the best place to visit once you reach Leh. Best way to reach is to climb the steps of you are adventurous nature , else there are roads that will directly lead to the shanti stupa. Stupa is awesome. very clean and beautiful place with awesome view around. you will feel peace over this place...do visit one buddha temple on the way to stupa after u park u vehicle.
