This a small hill in Srinagar, u have to climb too many stairs to reach the top. There is a temple of Guru Shankaracharya on the top. From there yuo can enjoy the view of entire srinagar, including Dal lake.

One really gets the energy to climb the 250 appx stairs to visit the Shankaracharya Hill to get the holy Darshan of the temple. The experience is very fulfilling. We had excellent Darshan and a lovely experience going up the hill.

Just came back from the City. It is absolutely not safe right now. I would say not this year atleast. City has been under curfew from last 80 days and nothing is operating at all.
