The view of the snow clad range in the backdrop was picturesque We went at the very fag end of the day and the reflection of the... More

We arranged for our Blooming Dale Hotel host to drive/guide us to these historic Mughal Gardens. Built in the Persian style from 1619-1633, they represent the high point of Mughal Horticulture. Chashme Shahi with its active spring had the prettiest spread of blooming flowers over 3 terraces. Nishat Bagh had the best lake view with water flowing down its 12... More

Enjoyed seeing how the garden landscaping done so many centuries ago. Though the garden plants can be better maintained. I feel it lacks it

Definitely worth visiting. Remains of Hanging Gardens of Babylon, or probably it's just me who felt that. Anyway, really beautiful place

Mughal gardens is actually combine of Shalimar and Nishat gardens. There is no such thing like mughal gardens. Both the gardens are a couple of kilometers away.

I visited this garden in Feburary, so it was barren. Due to very low temperature there were no flowers or leaves. No water no fountains either. But yes definitely got to see beautiful chinar leaves. I assume it would be a beautiful place in other seasons.

Located close to the Dal lake, these gardens are prime attractions in Srinagar. Beautiful collection of flowers, fountains and ample space for families to relax. Also click photos in traditional kashmiri clothes.
