This place is small, but I was amused by the story told about this place by our driver. Gompa is covered by a huge Yellow roof, it was built by the Tibetan refugees . It is amazing to see the Buddhist culture. This monastery also has some small stalls which can be patronized, so that it can help the women... More

People fond of this kind of architecture i.e. Buddhist Tibetian should pay a visit. Others should definitely avoid.

Inside the gompa, you will find a large image of Buddha and exquisite murals that illustrate Buddha's non-violent philosophy. Within the complex, there are several small shops where you can buy unique Tibetan handicrafts and carpets. It... More

This monastery is on the mall road only. A small but peaceful place to visit. However, the monstery we visited in Kullu was more beautiful.

What attracts me to a Gompa is its History and location. This is a new Gonpa. I saw a Scorpio standing right inside the main campus next to the stairs to the gompa main hall. The location is also at main road. If you have seen the gompas in leh and other places you will know what im talking about.
