this is the best museum in Ahmedabad. collection of old heritage utensils, pots, fire engines, artifacts and of course kites. take good time to see each and every part of it. very nice place.

I never knew that kites could be so interesting. The museum is very small and not flashy, but the information there so interesting.

The museum is full of different kites.There was small to very big kites.There was kites of paper and polythene.It will be good for children.

Kites museum is very unique idea which is conceptualised by Ahmedabad based Bhanubhai shah. He has varieties of kites varying from designs and sizes to colours. Unique museum with collection of kites..the evolution of the kites ... the role of kites in invention of the aeroplane by wright brothers.. the old photographs of great scientists...worth a visit as it is in the same complex of the main museum of Ahmedabad city... but the kite museum needs some facelift to attract more visitors

Away from the city hustle bustle this a good place to visit if you can spare 1.5 to 2 hrs. The collection of the kites is cool and the adjoining City Museum adds more to the visit. Informative museum showcasing kites through different eras and countries.........however needs improvement and some renovation the cases are a little dull.....some bright lights would make it more lively....

The Kite museum is near NID Paldi and houses the collection of kites donated by celebrated artist cum kite collector Shri Bhanu Shah.
