The place is located approx. 50 km from Raipur and is very well connected with taxis and buses. It is a bethak of saint mahaprabhuji and holds a special place in vaishnav ideology. The temple is really nice and clean and very well maintained.

Champaran is the birthplace of 16th century poet-saint-philosopher Vallabhacharya. The temple complex is spread over several acres. It's a major pilgrimage site for Vallabh sect, for the others it's a lovely getaway. The opulence of the temple is somewhat overbearing.
