It is worth visiting the FORT in the evening so as to watch the Sound and light show.
It is really worth it, as it gives you the history. The narration is very good and so are the light effects. Be prepared for Mosquitoes though.
This place is a must see in your life time.
But be prepared with your sunscreens, hats and water because the sun hots you hard. I would suggest you take a guide tp explain the architecture. But make sure you bargain for the guide fee.
This was part of a full day city tour we did (other stops were Charminar and Qtub Shahi Tombs & Chowmahalla Palace). The fort is a huge complex and speaks the the 1000's of years of Indian history. It is definitely worth visiting.
