We paid the base entry fare to hike (5 per person, reasonable) and did the Chimney Rock trail, beautiful multicolored rocks in a nice short (and exposed) distance, 3 miles total. Reasonably fit family of 4 with 2 teens took about 1.5 hours, enjoying the views and photo opportunities. Also did a bit of the Box Canyon hike, gets you... More

I went as a school group with 34 other kids and 4 teachers. The staff at Ghost Ranch were nothing but nice and helped us. Being a big group we felt sort of bad because we were a little hard to handle. But overall the horseback riding was fun and the hike was beautiful.

This was a fun experience. The people were nice and accommodating of our large group and we went horseback riding and it was a one of a kind experience. The tour guides were very knowledgeable as well.

This was a wonderful experience-the color of the rocks, the light on the surrounding mountains, the rich history of the place and the hiking was just amazing. Anyone who loves Georgia O'Keefe and those rugged individualists who settled here must see this place!

We really enjoyed the panoramic view. It's easy to understand why Georgia O'Keefe was so taken with this area. We did the Chimney Rock hike & enjoyed the view!

Take the hike! The best hike for beautiful vistas. The ghost ranch camp area, the library, and Georgia O'keefe's home are all of interest too. I think we donated 5 dollars to wander around! Oh my, unbelievable New Mexico beauty!
