Abiquiu Lake is a great kept secret. There were no boats on the lake that we saw. We brought kayaks and spent a day exploring the lake -- what an awesome experience. We stayed in a lakefront vacation rental on the lake and could put...More

Some people in our party went to the lake everyday to do water jet skis, swim, and just relax. We all had fun.

This is a BLM campground. The cost is very reasonable the facilities are well-maintained. The views are especially beautiful in the morning and in the evening!

The view of the lake was incredible from the parking lot. I walked around the area to take photos from different vantage points. There was a swimming beach as well but I never go to it.

Hello, I didn't see any but read that there was a place to rent water craft. Not sure if they have kayaks. It would be a perfect spot though. Hope you get to try out kayaking on the lake. Enjoy!
