We had a phantastic hike to the mountain of Batilamu thanks to our Guide from Abaca, who leaded us safe and friendly through cool forest paths to the best viewing points. Although some views were nothing but cloudy it was worth it! Doing this trip...More

Hiking in Koroyanitu Park was one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji! The villagers in Abaca were wonderfully sweet and welcoming and the trails easily followed. I would suggest a pretty good level of fitness for these hikes as they are pretty steep....More

This place is simply excellent for a day family trip. The walk to the waterfall and back takes some good physical health bit my kids made it to the waterfall and back. The scenery along the way is outstanding, and the walk gives a lot...More

We did a 2-night stay, 1 night in the Abaca village and 1 night at the peak of Mt Batilamu. The hospitality of the local people is fantastic, the climb is challenging, however very rewarding. A picturesque part of Fiji, but then again where isn't.

This place is a little hard to get to. Requires an expensive tour of around $200(Fijian) per person, or a 4X4 taxi can be hired just outside the Lautoka market for $80-$100 round trip total for up to 5 people. It's about a half-hour drive...More

I really suggest you hire a guide to lead you to the best places and help you along the route. This is not for amateurs! The steps are steep and often wet. I recommend shoes that you keep on even in the water. Bring bug...More
