Having been wowed in the daytime with our first visit to this site, we were looking forward to this much hyped show. It felt a little dated compared other similar light shows we have seen around the world - Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong etc.

The show is just okay but to see the temples lit up at night was special. The history of King Ramses is narrated with historical scenes on a projection screen on the two temples.

The light show itself is kinda cheesy but it is worth sitting through the show to see the beautiful temples all lit up. I understand they are working on a newer, more sophisticated version of the light show but I would go regardless. The temples are magical at night and they leave the lights on for a while after the show so you can get some beautiful photos!!…

In the recent years light shows have become very popular that they spring up everywhere. Thus, this looked and sounded dated by today's standards. Clarity of pictures, montage's, and scenes were out of focus or had to much light. On the top most edges of the scenes the light from other areas was very intrusive. So the scenes were not obvious. We attended a showing, the language being Chineese; however the audio equipment (english spoken) was very clear and ran concurrently with the visualisation on the monuments. …
