Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour walk here. The Orange land iguanas were fascinating to watch. They appeared on the track in front of us and were not disturbed by our presence at all. The walk to the top is not far at all. Great views.

We wandered around the tracks and saw lots of wildlife, walked up to the hilltop and admired the view of the bay

This was one of our stops on the Celebrity Xpedition. Landing from our Zodiak, we hiked around "Dragon Hill" where there are many land iguanas to be seen in their natural habitat. Interesting to learn from our guide how they live here. Nice views of the surrounding area from the top of the hill.

All of the Galapagos sights are pretty fantastic, since most of them offer one of a kind animals. Yes, there are iguanas all over the world, but not the same ones as you'll find here. It's quite interesting to see the differences, even from island to island. This location has so many iguanas that you have to be careful where... More

Located in the northwest of Santa Cruz Island, Dragon Hill is known for its land iguanas and flamingos in a nearby lagoon. The landscape is filled with low brush, cacti, and few tall trees. Along the way, we also saw lots of marine iguanas and some frigates.

Amazing place to visit all the wildlife in the Galapagos, this place mainly iguanas every where you look, going about their day not afraid of people, with the stunning red crabs on the near by rocks, very enjoyable hike!

Worth the trip to see the flamingos and iguana'a. We loved walking around this area. More iguanas then you could ever imagine possible.

It was nice to get off the yacht for a spell and get some hiking in. The scenery was rugged and spectacular but for me, the highlight was the land iguanas. These are majestic giants that go about their business while you observe them.

Cerro Dragon (Dragon Hill) certainly deserves its name - there are iguanas everywhere! As well as the bright orange land iguanas we also spotted a marine iguana which, our guide told us, was quite unusual. We went late afternoon, which was a good time to visit as the heat of the day had subsided a little - better for us... More

We visited Cerro Dragon as part of our cruise. The first dragon we saw was a bit far but our guide said we were lucky. As we progressed on the path, we saw more and more, closer and closer until we were almost walking on them. Tip: Go early in the morning or in the late afternoon, otherwise you will... More
