We walked to the Tortuga Bay Beach twice and loved the white sand and warm water. Also loved the marine iguanas sunning themselves.

This amazing beach of fine white sand was wonderful. Endemic Marine iguanas were both swimming and sunning themselves, and some tortugas were riding the waves before they broke on shore; and in the little very calm and well protected beach (playa) at the far end...More

With a long walk from the entrance (more or less 5Km) it's a good place to see the iguanas walking on the sand and do some snorkeling. Very important: bring your water! There are no stores.

I spent a few minutes here but I liked how peaceful this beach actually is. I don't think this is a place for swimming but definitely is worth to visit it.

Hi! you can only reach the beach after a taxi gets you to the starting point of a 40 minutes walk (beautiful, but carry your own shadow), or by sea taxi (US$ 10). It's an isolated beach and that's part of it's beauty. It's... More
