This more than 100 years old walk way along the sea side leads from Volosko to Lovran over 11 km. One passes old villas with park, small beaches, hotels, little habours with good bars and restaurants. It's an absolute attraction for the entire region. A must see. It's a little bit tricky to find a parking spot at the starting... More

Opatija has an imperial charm, a lot of historical buildings from the time of Austo-Hungarian Empire. It is very nice to take a walk along the shore of the Adriatic Sea and get lost on the streets of the town. Mainden with the seagull is the simbol of Opatija and is worth a visit.

Visiting Opatija at least once a year, I never miss my lengthy walk along the shore on the beautiful Lungo Mare, built in the heyday of Austro-Hungarian Empire. Gorgeous sights, well kept parks, the rocking ocean and nice lounges here and there make this trail a must for every visitor.

Had dinner here on 29/4/17. We chose to sit outside even though it was cold. Warmed up with fish soup. Shared a seafood plater for 2. Great food and great service.

It is 12 km long with plenty of fantastic scenery, cafes, beaches and places to just relax. Charming village Volosko on one side and Lovran on the other.

This is an easy and very pleasant walk along the seaside. There was a bit of construction to negotiate around (it was off-season) but this proved no problem. There are also lots of beautiful buildings, restaurants, hotels, etc. This is a beautiful seawall walk that winds in and out of scenic coves and is well worth the trip. We stayed... More

We parked close to Hotel Ambassador on Feliksa Peršića 5, 51410, Opatija, Croatia. Parking on the street costs 5 kuna/h. Parking machine accepts only coins, but speaks about 7 different languages :) Descent to the walkway through hotels parking lot and voila. You can walk to the left, towards the city, or to the right, away from the city. We... More

Beautiful seawall walk that winds in and out of coves, past beautiful Austro-Hungarian mansions, next to numerous enticing bars and restaurants, and past wonderful gardens. A real gem.
