Enjoyed walking on the jetty and taking pictures while collecting shells. I even had the opportunity to take pictures for someone else. Only problem was seeing some garbage securely attached to the rocks.

You can walk you dogs on the beach north of the boardwalk and below the jetty. Enter the beach at 8th street and make sure you are off the beach by 9am. You can also walk the dog(s) there in the evening.

It is just a jetty, but it improves the look of the Asbury Park beach. After strolling along the boardwalk and popping in the shops, you can sit and meditate on the beach while taking in the beauty of the jetty.
