I was impressed by the laguna of Guatapé. This is such a beautiful sight. A definite must go. It is huge and impressive. From the big rock you get the best view. It feels peacefull.

Less than an hour from Medellin. This place was truly breathtaking. It's a workout and a half walking up all 740 steps due to the high altitude, but it's worth it! Take your time walking up the steps and it won't be an issue. Bring...More

This is totally worth the drive from Medellin. Go to El Penon de Guatape and climb the stairs to the top; the view is amazing. Drive a little more and enjoy lunch in the town of Guatape. There are many restaurants to choose from, and...More

This was one of the most tours that I really enjoyed, Laguna de Guatapé it is a place that you "have" to visit and the town it is very colorful and beautiful, your eyes will be glad to be there!
The place has a extremely beautiful view of the nature. But, there are not too much to do on the Peñor. The positive thing is the "Cerveja Michelada", a beer with green mango, salt and lemon. It is very tasty.
