One of the most impressive views in the world. After climbing the 675 steps you get the most amazing views of this beautiful lake, a sight to remember. I definitely recommend renting a boat to explore the lake afterwards. After visiting the lake don't miss...More

The view from LA Piedra was spectacular. Horace within Guatape, the town itself, you really can't see the lake when we went. There is a steel wall that runs a long way down, I had thought that I could stroll and enjoy a view of...More

It is something that you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it. Its simply stunning. Going up those stairs its a bit tricky but when you reach the top is like heaven.

The rock and the lake are a must. But the village square is very beautiful with an impressive small cathedral. The people are very friendly. The grilled trout dish is a must

This was high on my list of things to do in the area and it was just as beautiful as I'd hoped. The area is wonderful and my only regret is that we didnt stay longer.

Very unique landscape and beautiful colours. Easily seen from climbing the rock in Guatape which is not as difficult as it looks! Glad I went and worth a visit!

I've been here about 5 times in 7 years of living in Medellin. I always enjoy the hike up and of course, the view at the top. It's a great way to spend a day with friends, have a beer, and eat some good food.

Visiting El Peñol (the rock) and the surrounding lacunas is worth the visit from Medellin. Long ride and curvy roads, however, beautiful view. Guatapé itself (the town) is not very interesting. you would find colored buildings and a lot of restaurants and small tiendas but...More

A few hours away from the city but worth the trip to see the spectacular scenery of the lake and the quaintness of the town with its colorful houses.
