We got on the Metro at the Poblado station at about 3 pm. It was packed. It looked like we weren’t going to get in until someone pushed us in from behind. I’ve been on subways in Chicago, NY, DC, Paris and more but this...More

The metro able line between San Javier and Aururo offers great views of Medellin. It's inexpensive and easy to use.

The Ride was awesome and kudos for building it. The final miles long ride was too good. We had a very good experience and the view from the Top of Medellin City was awesome.

This was a really cool way to see Medellín, I can see why the city is so proud of the Metrocables. There are police and metro cable staff at every station/stop which makes it feel quite safe, although my friend and I still felt a...More

The metro is the best and cheapest way to get around Medellin. It does not go everywhere but if you use it you can ride the cable car up the mountain and back without paying extra. A single trip on the metro and cable is...More

Must see to explore the real Colombia. The car take it to the top of the mountain and you can get up and walk around in the neighborhood but be careful the streets are narrow and it is a different place but it is definitely...More

The Medellin metro system is fantastic. Clean, safe, trains every 5 minutes or less. Very cheap and easy to use. It also links with the cable systems. A credit to the city and the country. Great views from the cable cars!!

Like going a ski chalet, but here just part of the public transportation system. Don't leave Medellin without trying it.

I am not 100% confident but there appears to be more than enough space on the metro cable....people are relatively easy going. I am not sure how "big" is big but I would say that a normal suit case (15-20 kilos) would not... More

We bought a one-time travel ticket for use on public transport. As long as you stay in the transport system and don’t leave it, you can use metro, metro cable etc on one ticket.
