This is the greatest collection of Botero sculptures in the world. Even though there are plenty of police officers in the square, the area where is located (downtown) is very dangerous. Don't let this to ruin your plans but exercise caution getting into and out of the square.

This was cool. I always wanted to visit here, and I appreciate that one of our most famous artist in Colombia did a park for people to enjoy his artwork from the outside as well. This was quite enjoyable,

When in Medellin, don't miss the Botero plaza and Museum. Takes about 1-2 hours to get a good taste, but it is well done and well worth the time.

Go early! Clean and safe. Incredible sculptures laid out around the park.. Try the Farmers market nearby on the first Saturday of the month.

This place is basically a giant photo opp for tourists and locals alike. Worth a glance if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Overrated. Leave this to the last thing you choose to visit in Medellin. It's crowded, noisy and frequented by prostitutes.

Very nice park to see Botero's Sculptures. Surrounding area is not nice, but plenty of police around park. You can see (and touch) sculptures freely.

The fat monuments are nice and funny as well. We enjoyed the scenery for about 20 minutes. The high number of salesmen are a bit annoying but anyway it's worth it.

Wonderful square with loads of Botero statues. I spent ages sitting on a bench and enjoying watching locals and tourists (Colombian and international) enjoying interacting with these very fun, warm and 'voluminous' sculptures.

Botero is an amazingly productive artist & his work is so beautifully displayed here. we were there on a Sunday, so it was crowded, and of course a few beggars, but just ignore them...they'll go away. A sunny day and enjoyed it very much...the Cathedral adjacent is beautiful too !

Thank Hans R
