Wonderful!

I highly recommend visiting ! This is such a beautiful place, right in the heart of the city. Plus the opportunity to see wildlife - iguanas, birds, butterflies..

We simply love the Jardin Botanico as we come to Medellin once a year to visit family and ALWAYS go by the park at least once and it is so tranquil and relaxing and best of all its FREE!! Great trails and beautiful flowers of many varieties await you an they also have a few nice restaurants in the park... More

Considering the entry price (free), this is a lovely way to spend an hour or two out of the chaos of the city. With more time, I would recommend Parque Arvi for a real hike, but the garden is peaceful and easy to access for people of any age. There is a small butterfly house, and gardens dedicated to specific... More

This is a magic place, you can see an amazing variety of birds and plants, also you can have a nice diner and enjoy a relaxing place in the middle of the city!

The Botanical Garden is a nice place to visit, but we weren't terribly impressed. It's peaceful and has a good diversity of plants. I'm quite spoiled with the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, so perhaps I'm biased.

We were really excited to go, but we didn't really do our homework. We went during a time when not a lot of flowers are blooming. We still enjoyed looking at plants and trees. It was free when we went so overall had a good time.

The botanic garden of Medellín is nice, but not as you expect a botanic garden. Of course there are different parts like the Laguna, the house of butterflys and the desert part. All without signs and names of the plants so it feels more like a park with many different trees. You you want to rest it's the perfect place.... More

This is not a must in Medellin. It is a nice walk, but I would definitely consider other places nearby instead like Park Explora or the Planetarium.

I was a bit disappointed with the botanical garden. Medellín has some beautiful parks and vegetation throughout the city, and I was expecting the botanical garden to have some of the massive tropical plain trees that I saw across the city. The day I was there, I was looking for a quiet place to walk a bit and sit a... More

The Botanical Garden is not much different from other cities around the worl, but it's really beautiful and cool. The entrance is free, there is only one entrance and exit, and is quite safe. You can know most things in 1 hour
