It is a typical Chinese park, with Han people playing cards, chess, and music. It is beautiful to walk around and cool off. Dosent have much of a local feel though and feels like you are in any other city in China, not XinJiang

Great to watch the daily activity. The dancing has a local flavour with Uyghur music, quite unlike other parts of China. Worth the effort to get there

A stroll through the park provides great opportunities to observe local families relaxing and to offer a respite from the urban environment

Fabulous for people watching, in the morning or in the afternoon. Regular Chinese doing taichi, singing opera, dancing on Uighur music, playing Mahjong and cards, collecting pebbles, etc. A very nice stroll in the city and absolutely exotic for somebody not acquainted to Chinese parks.
