I love going to Jinli to go shopping and site seeing! It can get a little crowded, but is completely worth the trip to hang out here for a few hours.

This shopping street was terrific. Feel of old Chinese buildings and streets but everything seemed new. Very clean, no disgusting odors, vendors not aggressive. Quality of merchandise was great.

A great place to spend the day in Chengdu. Full of culinary and desserts and street snacks, and of course lots of Chinese Sichuan Opera Theater to learn the traditions and folklores of ancient Sichuan.

Recreated rather than authentic for tourists. Locals don't frequent this area. Has hot pot , noodles, skewered & grilled foods (no scorpions, snakes or bugs thank God!) and plenty of touristy trinket shops like calligraphy stands etc. there's a Starbucks within. It's right next to...More
